Mother's Day Bike Event 2010

Thousands of bikers from throughout the country are planning a spectacular mass ride through Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire on Mothers Day to honour soldiers who have lost their lives in Afghanistan.

More than 1,000 riders are expected to ride through the Wiltshire town on Sunday March 14 and then gather on the runway at RAF Lyneham. They will there hand over funds raised for the Afghan Heroes charity set up last September by a group of mothers who lost their sons in Afghanistan.

While the road captains are planning our events for next year as a club are we are already planning to ride to the following:-

  • Bullet The Cider Rally 2010. Phil 34D Dingle is organising off site accommodation for people who have not been able to get on site. Contact Phil on 07711 458729 or email 34d@petrell.co.uk.
  • The Fenlanders, 18 East of England Rally 2010, 22nd to 25th July 2010. £25 pre booked and £30 on the gate. Details here.
  • The Sherwood Rally 2010, date and details to follow.
