A GREAT DAY HAD BY ALL AT NORWICH H-D® CUSTOM SHOW

On July 30^th 2011 Norwich Harley-Davidson^® opened its doors to the public for our first Custom Show. There was a whole host of entertainment on the day and the atmosphere in the show room and car park was electric, there was no shortage of custom bikes to drool over as we had Guildford Custom Cycles and our friends from Hawg Haven here showing off their custom bikes. The shiny side of things was taken care of from Mag Europe who travelled down from Manchester to exhibit parts from companies such as Performance Machine and Vance & Hines and we also had 8 Ball Custom Paint who brought down some cool paint sets and a very special CVO™ Springer which looked stunning in its rock ‘N’ roll paint job. During the course of the day we had a couple of rock DJ’s who kept everyone singing to classic tunes all day long and provided a soundtrack to our friend Ben who was performing Powerbock stunts including flips and grabs and was catching some serious air using his specially made stilts with carbon springs which enables him to jump up to ten feet in the air!

We also had the Iceni Brewery who was selling some specially commissioned Iceni ale in homage to our H.O.G.^® Chapter which went down a treat!

The main attraction of the day and the one that almost caused a multi car pileup out the front of the shop was our Bikini Bike wash we had the girls from Platinum Lace Norwich here who was washing customer’s bikes and posing for pictures in return for a donation to the East Anglian air Ambulance.

Obliviously a custom show wouldn’t be complete without some bikes to show! We had many customers enter their bikes on the day but there had to be three winners first place was a evo softail bobber with a nice flame paint job and white wall tyres second was a evo rigid bobber on period tyres and nice subtle blue paint and third a very old but mint rigid Sportster^®.

So with all of this going on and some amazing deals on clothing I think everyone will agree that the day was a huge success and with around 400 or so attending during the course of the day we hope to be back even better and bigger next year!!
